I'm a Dutch photographer, mother of two and founder of Lume Livre, living in the beautiful West Algarve.

After years of living at full speed, my body asked me to slow down. What felt as an interruption slowly became an invitation to live differently. Together with my family, we moved to Portugal to live a slower life, where nature, community and simple everyday moments became the rhythm of our days.

Lume Livre was born from that journey - a desire to create more space for what truly matters: connection, creativity, nature and living in alignment with our dreams.

Photography became a way to capture those real moments.
